University preparation workshops (Personal statement workshops, Interview skills workshops, Overseas university applications and scholarship talks)
Pre-internship training (CV writing, work etiquette training, panelist sharing)
Mentor program
Industry exposure through summer internships/ job shadowing opportunities and professional corporate workshops
University Application Support to US/UK (subject to further assessment)
All workshops and programs are free of charge
Eligible Students:
ACO works with local partner schools in Hong Kong to identify students who are academically high achieving and from under-resourced backgrounds.
We welcome applications from students who do not attend a partner school, but may require students to provide additional background information to evaluate eligibility.
Students who are eligible for this program should currently be in Form 5; exceptional Form 4 students will also be considered subject to ACO’s assessment review and their school counselors’ and teachers’ recommendations.
Assessment Requirement:
Total number of student participants is approximately 20-30 per year.
Our assessment process allows us to identify academically high achieving but under-resourced students, who are proactively seeking mentorship and career exposure and, critically, who desire to make a positive contribution to their communities.

Careers Program
Aim:
Provide students with guidance in achieving their imminent academic and extra-curricular goals, in preparation for their university applications.
Provide students with mentorship and career exposure to bridge the gap between academic and future career success.
Inspire and empower students to believe in themselves, and to help them understand how they can make a positive difference in their communities.
