Jennifer Ma

Jennifer has 16 years of multi-faceted experience in the education sector – she is a specialist in global university admissions, a leader in academic and transformative curriculum development, and part of the founding team with operational expertise in starting schools and strategic change management. She also initiated and led first ever key initiatives such as the launch of University of London International Foundation Program in Hong Kong and the University of Oxford Pembroke College summer programs. 

In 2009, she co-founded ARCH Education where she led university admissions, with particular focus on UK, HK China, Australia, Ireland and Canada; as well as academic and skill based enrichment programs, one to two year A-Level programs, the UoL International Foundation Program and bespoke collaboration programs with top global universities and boarding schools. 

In 2011, she co-founded ACO Education Development Foundation (formerly ARCH Community Outreach Limited) a section 88 charity in Hong Kong. The Foundation was established with the aim to broaden Hong Kong youth’s exposure to international education experiences and diverse careers networks; and for the advancement of education in Hong Kong SAR, which includes to establish and operate non-profit making schools and to make donations to educational institutions. 

In 2019, she joined CTF Education Group as Group Chief Strategy Officer with primary focus on the ground up launch of Benenden Bilingual School Guangzhou and Kindervarsity Hub. Jennifer was part of the leadership team consolidating various education groups and entities into CTFEG, strategizing change management to navigate the Covid period whilst closing the collaboration between Benenden School UK and CTFEG. As the Founding Convenor of WOW Institute, she advocated for World of Work programs linking industries with education, and successfully implemented a series of industry experiential learning programs for senior primary to secondary students. Jennifer was also part of the founding team of EduMaker Voices where she engaged a strong network of education leaders to share their experiences and advocate for Hong Kong as an education ecosystem hub. 

As the Honorary Executive Supervisor of BBSG, she was the lead advisor to the committees responsible for the establishment of school ethos, academic framework design, student development, pastoral and safeguarding, human resources, marketing, admissions, crisis management, business development and international liaison; and was part of the committees responsible for operations, construction, legal, finance and government liaison. As the Vice President of Kindervarsity Hub, she led the team on innovative curriculum development leading to the successful launch of one-of-a-kind summer programs. 

Jennifer has stepped down from her roles at CTFEG, ARCH Education, Kindervarsity Hub and Benenden Bilingual School Guangzhou as of April 1, 2025.  

Currently, Jennifer is the Director of the St Paul’s Co-Ed Summer Portal focused on delivering programs that integrate industry immersion, academic exposure and AI skills development for primary and secondary students at and beyond the school.

Jennifer is a Council Member of Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, a Benenden Trustee, University of Oxford Pembroke College Alumni Advisory Board, and is a part of the University of Oxford Ossulston Circle. Jennifer graduated from University of Oxford with First Class Honours in Economics and Management, earned her Masters in Education from the University of Hong Kong and a Certification in Early Education Leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Jennifer previously worked at Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs Hong Kong.
